You're new School
This larger than average primary school based in Rowley, is a three form entry school that will be expanding in 2018. This forward thinking and friendly primary school are looking to appoint a flexible learning support practitioner to join their team from October on a full time long term basis. You will be joining a team where all staff are passionate and keen to ensure children are nurtured and developed into lifelong learners.
Your new role
Working as a learning support practitioner in this fantastic school you will be providing 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism. You will have ownership over an area of the curriculum supporting with resources, assisting with lesson plans and monitoring and feeding back progress to students .
What you'll need to succeed
For this primary learning support practitioner role you must hold a level 3 qualification or equivalent. You will have specific classroom based experience and a willingness to train is essential.
