Macildowie are pleased to be supporting with the latest recruitment campaign within their Finance function.

Recruiting for a Financial Controller, this role will report to the Finance Director and will have company wide exposure including multi site managers and branch based Management Accountants.

The finance team plays an active role in leading and supporting the company in achieving its business objectives and targets by working closely with key stakeholders to drive improvements to operational and financial processes.

Responsibilities will include

  • Heading up the Finance Function with 4 direct office reports and 2 field based reports.
  • Producing weekly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and providing commentary and analysis on performance, whilst engaging with stakeholders including GM's/Directors in branches and across the group.
  • Systems implementation and internal audit.
  • Strategically and commercially involved with assisting in the company's growth and acquisition plans for the future.

The Business are keen to recruit based on technical ability, behaviour and personality.

This role requires a well-organised, practical and hardworking individual that has a strong work ethic and isn't afraid to get stuck in and involved.

Newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) is preferred, although finalists and QBE will also be considered.

This role will suit someone who is looking to make a first move out of a practice/audit role or has developed their accounting experience within industry and looking for a new challenge.

A great opportunity to support the Finance Director who is succession planning for the future. The role will include occasional travel to U.K. branches.

Salary will range from £35,000 - £40,000 with additional benefits.
