This Teaching Assistant position would suit a resilient Science graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or above in their science based degree and has aspirations of becoming a Science Teacher. You will work full time in the schools highly regarded Science department for the full 2017/18 academic year. The school will provide you with all the CPD and development you need for a successful teacher training programme in 2018.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be providing tutoring to pupils who need it most, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. You will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential so you must be able to motivate, inspire and challenge your pupils. This is an ideal role for an ambitious graduate, to develop your skills and confidence in the classroom before commencing a teacher training scheme.
