One of the most inspirational and welcoming secondary schools in Walsall is looking for top English graduates who have a real desire and passion for education and are potentially aspiring to become an English teacher. The school is open to applicants who have a degree in a subject other than English, but you must have a strong A Level grade within English. (For example a History graduate with an A in English at A Level)

As an English Learning Mentor you will be required to work with small groups and on a one to one basis to support pupils in their learning. You will work closely with the class teacher to support these pupils, some of which are border line C/D whilst others are A to A* potential. The Head of the English Department is an excellent leader and is committed to enabling pupils to reach their potential. They require an English Graduate who is motivational and inspiring to join their team. You will be fully supported within the English Department and be given CPD opportunities and training.
