Graduate, "Business Graduate", "HR Graduate" or Administrator with an interest in Talent development and training urgently required to provide administration and business support within a Talent Management function for an IT Managed Services business in the Tamworth area.

Joining an existing team of 2, the successful Graduate, "Business Graduate", "HR Graduate" or Administrator will ultimately develop this newly created role into a fully operational soft skills training function over time and with guidance and support from the Head of Talent Management. This is a superb opportunity for a new graduate with a passion for people and skills development, to learn from grassroots upwards, how to deliver successfully and impacting soft skills training. Whilst it is not anticipated that you will have gained commercial experience within a training capacity, it is essential that you have a background within hospitality, retail, acting / amateur dramatics or customer services.

You career will start off with providing administration support within a Talent function but also provide reception and hospitality cover for 6 weeks of the year whilst the current front of house team member is on annual leave and enjoying her lunch break. You will also restock meeting room fridges and order replacement goods through purchasing/accounts as a small part of your role.

The main part of your role will be talent administration. These responsibilities involve:

- Following up on set objectives and training tasks with each team member when they have completed their annual, probation and SMART 1-2-1 quarterly reviews
- Escalating any risk or associated issues to leaders or Head of Talent Management (HOTM) in relation to missed targets or training goals as set out and defined at annual, probation and SMART 1-2-1 quarterly reviews
- Assisting the HOTM with the role out of our new 'home grown talent' initiative, giving all team members the opportunity to progress within the Quiss business
- Maintaining and updating the HR Wiki and managing the training disclaimers associated with concluded training, exams and courses
- Assisting with the administration of our recruitment function
- Assisting with the administration of our HR function
- Completing any talent management documentation, including probation, personal development and annual review documentation

Once you have established a base skill set, you will then learn how to:

- Research and develop 'lunch and learn' soft skills training sessions. These will range from Customer Services to interview techniques sessions
- Provide a floor walking function focused on Customer excellence. Supporting initially the Service Desk function with ghost training and observations feedback. Listening to calls and recommending areas for improvement resulting in increased client satisfaction
- Use your creative skills when assessing what 'makes a good learning environment'. Being mindful of location, light, sound, ambience and other influencing factors when it comes to the successful delivery of your courses (you will learn this as part of your personal development plan)
- Proactively source and schedule 'free' technical training from our partners and assist with the maintenance of our accreditations
- Proactively forge relationships with all of our PAM (Partner Account Managers) so as to secure free / part funded training for team members
- Liaise with other teams to identify skills gaps and the need for cross training so as to mitigate risk to the business
- Research training techniques and work with our client facing training function in order to plan in technical training sessions delivered by the above team when they have availability
- Map out induction schedules and be mindful of new team member needs and training requirements
- Ultimately write and maintain training documentation (including session handouts and disclaimers)
- Suggest new and improved ways of producing interactive documentation, ensuring that collaboration is achieved from all stake holders

This is an office based role, with limited travel to relevant partner offices or conferences that may be relevant to your career development. Skills wise you may have an exposure to Microsoft SharePoint and Digital design skills that can help with formatting and branding training documents. These skills, including base MS Office skills may have developed as part of your studies.

Educated to Degree level in a Business Administration or Human Resources discipline, whilst at university or in a previous role:

- You may have been part of an amateur dramatics society
- You may have done drama or a performing arts GCSE, A 'level or an extracurricular activity
