Salary: Band C £19,615 per annum

Basis: Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday between the hours 8:00 - 17:00
Type: Permanent

Our client is one of the largest and most successful housing groups in the Midlands providing around 30,000 homes with a turnover of £140 million per year. They want everything they do to help achieve the vision of 'Creating places where people are proud to live and work' and to put customers and employees at the very heart of this delivery.
They provide repairs, maintenance, planned works, cleaning and grounds maintenance services to 24,000 properties, primarily within the group, but also externally.

This continues to be an exciting area of the business to be a part of.
Our client is looking for an Operations Support Officer to join the recently expanded team in Birmingham. Reporting to the Senior Operations Support Officer, the role will be responsible for the operational and administrative support for a team of Trade Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors and Managers.
Primarily the role involves the scheduling of repairs appointments using Kirona DRS (Opti-time) and our housing management system MIS Active H.
A key success measure for the role is creating maximum efficiency and ensuring key performance indicators are maintained by ensuring repairs appointments are kept, and that repairs are completed "right first time".
The successful candidate should have a good level of general education, and will preferably have some experience of working within a repairs and maintenance environment scheduling repairs. The candidate should also have a strong customer focus and is motivated to meet targets in a busy environment.
