4 on 2 off roster 11 am starts 9 hour shifts

£7.50 per hour

Start Date: Asap

Job Purpose

To assist Passengers with Reduced Mobility to and from aircraft safely and record the process on PDA with time stamps. To provide a high level of customer service within the time frame set by the Service level Agreement. To assist Passengers with reduced mobility safely on the ramp, marshalling vehicles on/off aircraft following all relevant Healthy and Safety Method statements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

-To collect passengers with reduced mobility from agreed meeting points, assisting them through security into departure lounge and then to board the aircraft. Record time stamps onto PDAs.
-To collect PRM from aircraft, escort through Immigration / Passport Control and to reclaim luggage. Help collecting PRM's luggage through H M Customs to the arrivals hall. Record time stamps onto PDAs
-To comply with all health and safety regulations for operating procedures and report any incidents/accidents.
-To marshal vehicles on/off aircraft
-To welcome all passengers, record and update information on INFORM system.
-Maintain a professional level of knowledge and skill by attending training courses.
-To promote the company as a professional service provider through high standards of customer care and excellent customer service. Liaise and work closely with all airport staff.
-Comply with uniform standards
-Assist, as required, with any other activity or tasks regarding PRM movements around the airport.

Essential Requirements
Candidates Must:
-Be physically fit: able to lift and push; able to walk considerable distances up and down slopes
-Caring, thoughtful and empathetic personality
-Ability to communicate effectively with persons at all levels and from all backgrounds, including colleagues
-Have a good level of English, both written and spoken
-Provide a full 5 year checkable history on registration
-Provide a basic Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check (Cost of which to be met by candidate)
-Be willing to work all assigned shifts covering a 24 hour operation, including weekends and bank holidays
-Be at least 18 years old
