Duel office, SME Engineering Consultancy require a Geo-Environmental Engineer to work under an experienced lead within their Birmingham office. You will have the chance to work on complex contaminated land, geotechnical and remediation schemes on a diverse range of residential and commercial schemes.

Once feet are under the table, you will be required to manage interesting projects from tender stage to validation. This will include the design, implementation and supervision of ground investigations, risk assessment on contamination datasets, writing technical reports, remedial strategies and validation reports. There will be the chance to gain experience within Geotechnical Interpretive reports and foundation design if this is a desire of yours.

Currently you must be able to produce phase 1 desk top studies, design/manage site investigation activities (Inc Trial Pitting, Gas Monitoring etc. Being experienced within remediation of contaminated land and writing of interpretive reports is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have an MSc ideally.
*Minimum of 2 year's practical experience within a UK consultancy.
*You must have a working knowledge in current governing standards within the Ground investigation and Geotechnical supervision on site.
