Role

An exciting and challenging contract opportunity has arisen to join as a Therapeutic Specialist in Midlands region to be responsible for promoting a range of HIV education programs.

Main Responsibilities

* Helping support the core business reach more customers and improve use of clinical tools to help patient care and improve HCP knowledge
* Responsible for developing the HIV unmet need story with a range of HIV HCP's helping them see that we need to look after PLWHIV for the future as well as today
* Utilize a high level of HIV disease knowledge to deliver and develop materials/programs and education to HCPs
* May work in collaboration with medical or other non-promotional teams and may represent company at professional events and promote company education programs
* Works collaboratively with MSL, National Account Managers, Marketing and other internal team members on various cross-functional projects related to specific accounts or physicians on non-promotional programs
* Builds and extends business relationships with key customers or within accounts
* Assists in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities, and communicates proactively to HIV Business Unit
* Completes necessary administrative tasks in timely manner e.g. updating customer database, expenses etc.
* Responsible for achieving the competency levels required in the role
* Complies with all regulatory agencies and company SOPs to required standard at all times

Skills/Requirements

* Typically requires a BA or BS degree
* Previous experience in HIV is essential for this role
* Extensive relevant knowledge of NHS education for HIV programmes; NHIVNA/BHIVA standards of care
* At least two years' experience in a Hospital sales role
* 2 - 3 years' experience in secondary care
* Must be self-motivated and able to work with a general level of autonomy and independence
* Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship building skills is required
