The BAE Systems Land (UK) Future Programmes Team is embarking on a challenging and sustained programme to develop a new product that is aimed initially at the Export Market.

The role requires a number of generic skills: a passion for the rapid development of Systems Engineering artefacts for complex systems; a flexible and pragmatic approach to Systems Engineering development; an ability to communicate SE issues within the business; and a strong desire to apply company SE processes. An ability to communicate, both written and orally, is also essential. The role will also include supporting tests and trials of all sorts.

Systems Engineer Specific requirements:
The Systems Engineer will generate and prepare the following product SE artefacts:
1. Preparation of Use Cases
2. Preparation of sequence diagrams,
3. Definition of User Interface screens for the crewstation displays,
4. Support to requirements generation,
5. Support to turret test and trials planning activities,
6. Support to crew-training planning and activities

Experienced in creating Systems Engineering artefacts for complex electro-mechanical systems that exhibit complex system behaviours, to include:
- Operation of complex systems with complex behaviours
- Use Cases and Sequence Diagrams,
- User interfaces,
- Interpretation of complex system requirements,
- Conducting system tests and trials,
- Supporting the generation of training material for User crews,
- Supporting the generation of Product Safety Cases.

- Experience of turret systems,
- Experience of sight and sensor systems,
- Experience of Human Machine Interfaces,
- Experience of weapon systems.
