WANTED....Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer - CNC

EMBS are in partnership with an exciting company who are currently flourishing due to their new and existing customers growing order books and are therefore looking to continue to expand their production engineering department to support with additional workloads.

The new Manufacturing Engineer will be joining their Leicester site on a permanent basis and MUST have experience within CNC Machining.

Commutable locations would be: Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Burton on Trent, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and other surrounding areas.

The purpose of this role is to support the manufacturing engineering team by creating fixture, gauging design concepts & finished fixture designs as well as implementing continuous improvement methodologies amongst other duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Provide manufacturing engineering support for 5 axis grinding in our component manufacturing facility
* Provide programming capability for grinding and other processes
* Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering activities
* Provide day to day support for existing product lines
* Employ continuous improvement methodologies to increase Right First Time
* Support the design, delivery and prove out of tooling & fixturing solutions
* Create and implement manufacturing documentation/work instructions (ISO9001 / AS9100C)
* Reduce non-conformance through structured & targeted process improvement

Skills and Requirements:

* Ability to program CNC machines (milling, turning or grinding) using Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain controls.
* Ability to utilise CAD Systems
* Ability to read and interpret complex aerospace components
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Experience with conventional machining tooling and fixtures
* Must be IT competent with all Microsoft packages

Desired experience:

* Familiar of working with Rolls Royce, Siemens and GE components
* Worked with CNC Grinding machines
* Experience working with SolidWorks, Inventor and/or NX ideally but other software packages will be considered
