Reception Supervisor & Events Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent Reception Supervisor & Events Coordinator. A busy, yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for supervising the reception desk, manning it where necessary and providing full administrative support to the Events Management and Operations team. In addition to this, you will take full responsibility for managing small meetings and for selling and managing Asian Weddings within the Centre ensuring you take control of the whole event process from the first meet to managing the wedding on the day. Due to the nature of the events industry, you will work a variety of shifts including some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays so flexibility is essential.
This role will appeal to a well-organised and highly motivated administrator with customer facing experience preferably from within a hotel or conference venue environment. You must possess excellent communication skills and a high degree of personal confidence with the ability to establish relationships quickly and effectively. You must be able to effectively plan, prioritise and multi-task activities in order to ensure the demands of this busy role are met with a high attention to detail. The successful candidate will also possess excellent IT skills being proficient in Microsoft office packages. Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
