Site Managers / Project Managers - Award Winning National Housing Developer - GBP50-60k plus package (dependent on experience)

Our client are one of the countrys fastest-growing house builders who have recently achieved a 5-star rating from the House Builders Federation (HBF); the highest accolade to be granted by the national housebuilding body.

The business currently builds 700 new homes for private sale and have plans to increase that output to 2,500 homes by 2021. With a huge landbank and planning already in place to build circa 22,000 homes these growth plans will be aided by the opening of 2 new regional offices over the coming years affording excellent career progression opportunities for their staff.

They are currently seeking a proven Project Managers and Site Managers to lead new phases of existing developments and numerous new sites which are due to start within the next 12 months. Locations include Worcester, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon and Rugby.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager and Construction Manager, you will be:

• Attending regular site meetings with subcontractors, trades, in-house technical and commercial representatives.
• Maintaining quality control and safety procedures ensuring high standards are met.
• Conducting regular site safety checks, inducting new site operatives and reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• Ensuring the project runs to programme and to budget.
• Build in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Calling off and coordinating materials and deliveries onsite.
• Liaising with NHBC and authorities.

To be suitable for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• An excellent communicator
• SMSTS, CSCS, 1st aid card holder
• Preference towards NHBC Award Winning Site Managers
• Experience in a construction management role for a residential contractor or housing developer
• A proven track record overseeing large flagship housing developments
• Full understanding of traditional building techniques and up to date knowledge of building regs. and NHBC standards
• Longevity of service for a like-minded business (this role is not suitable for freelance professionals)
