This role will include working over a broad range of technologies and operating across the business to provide tailored support surrounding specific issues. Experience of implementing proactive maintenance plans is desirable as you will be monitoring and reviewing service performance. The role requires a strong team player that is driven to meet team SLA's and drive service and efficiency improvements. Additionally, maintain awareness of current developments including production of associated product life cycles and roadmaps.

You must have a proven track record in supporting an expanding and complex IT infrastructure with experience of planning and implementing maintenance activities, including negotiating associated system outages. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a technical services environment delivery a 2nd/3rd line support, including the use of a system management and monitoring tools such as SCOM.

Hands on experience with a number of the following technology areas is essential:

* Microsoft products and Sever Technologies
* Citrix technologies
* AppSense
* VM Ware versions 5-6
* Net App
* HP Server Hardware
* Quest ARS
* Printing
* An in-depth knowledge is needed for VM Ware, AppSense, Net App and a number of Microsoft products & Server technologies as well as Citrix technologies as identified above, as these will be used within the role on a daily basis.
