Ward Manager (Experienced RMN Nurse)
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced RMN to join our clients established department.
This is a full-time (37.5 hrs), permanent role with a salary of up to £39,780 per annum (depending upon experience and qualifications).
The Ward Manager will lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice; with reference to the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. They will also assist in leading and monitoring the performance and work of nursing staff; supervising the work of Staff Nurses, HCAs and student nurses. Ward Manager will deputise for the Clinical Director in their absence.
To provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to the ward nursing team. To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the wards. To ensure a high standard of evidence-based nursing care is consistently delivered to patients. To ensure that a safe, cost effective service is provided. To act as a role model and patient advocate, ensuring a positive patient experience for all. To be responsible for Information Governance standards.
The post holder will have experience of management and leadership and prioritising key tasks in relation to your sphere of work.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Successful candidates will be a qualified RMN with a minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role and to ensure audit compliant.
Flexible to work weekends and bank holidays.
Promote good relationships with patient, relatives, public, other care organisations and all members of the multidisciplinary care team.
To ensure audit compliance (CQC).
