RGN - Staff Nurse - General & Elderly Nursing - Leominster, West Midlands - £16 per hour

Working Hours: 33 hours per week - Nights

I am currently recruiting for a Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) to join this elderly nursing home in Leominster, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join one of the area's most reputable healthcare providers, where all staff are supported in their professional development by a varied training and support program and an initial comprehensive induction period.

You will be an experienced Registered Nurse ( RGN ) who has experience working in a clinical elderly general nursing environment and will be looking for a new challenging role.

My client is part of a small group of services who aim to deliver an exceptional level of nursing care for the elderly across the region. The home itself specialises in dementia care but the team also provide care for a range of other age related nursing needs. The role of the RGN - Staff Nurse - General & Elderly Nursing is:

  • Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
  • Develop, review and update care plans
  • Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff
  • Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
  • Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit
  • Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

As a RGN - Staff Nurse - General & Elderly Nursing you will have:

  • Experience in a similar setting (Hospital or Nursing Home)
  • A general nursing qualification ( RGN )
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC
  • The legal right to work in the UK
