Staff Nurse ( RMN / RNLD ) - Experienced Nurses

Service Type: Mental Health Hospital

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £23,000 - £33,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

Hours : Full Time Contract, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Structured Rotational Shift Pattern (mixture of days, nights and weekends)

Contract: Permanent

Service Details / Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced RMN / RNLD Nurse to work within a prestigious private hospital in the West Midlands. This hospital is for clients with mental health issues.

The role of the Staff Nurse involves providing leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents' safety and dignity. The Staff Nurse maintains skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.

Further duties and responsibilities are as follows;

- Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes

- Ensuring that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used

- Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice

- Taking charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accepting responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit

- Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment

Person Specification:

To be successful in applying for this role you will need;

- A relevant nursing qualification and registration ( RMN/RNLD )

- Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights
