£15.15p/h - Permanent Contract - FT/PT hours

I am working with a modern, low secure private hospital on the outskirts of Market Drayton, Stoke-on-Trent, which is seeking to employ genuinely passionate and experienced Staff Nurses (RMN/RNLD) permanently to work full or part-time hours. The hourly rate is £15.15p/h, and a welcome bonus is also offered to all successful candidates.

The hospital can treat up to 50 individuals who are suffering with long-standing and complex mental health issues and learning disabilities, as well as those with a forensic/criminal histories who require assessment, intervention and rehabilitation in a safe, secure and calm setting. Those who have been detained under the Mental Health Act are treated here, where they can receive first-class, person-centred nursing care and rehabilitation from highly-skilled and compassionate healthcare staff, including Consultants, nurses, healthcare support workers, therapists etc.

The hospital is divided into 4 areas, each providing different levels and types of care, dependent on each service users' symptoms, requirements and histories. The aim for healthcare staff is to ensure that models of care are appropriate for each person, and are effectively contributing towards their rehabilitation and recovery.

The Essential Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse in the UK with valid NMC registration
  • Experience within low secure/adult mental health nursing settings
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and to effectively contribute to the team
  • You will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
  • Strong working knowledge/understanding of the MHA/MCA/SoVA/other relevant legislation
