We are looking for a Software Development Project Manager to join a well-established software house based in Birmingham who would lead one or more development teams on various software projects.

The right Software Development Project Manager will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as you would be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. As an experienced Project Manager within Software Development you will be involved in designing and planning software implementation, as well as directing and reviewing the development teams' work. Therefore you will need to be very technically minded having awareness of languages such as C++, C# or JavaScript and databases such as SQL Server, MySQL or Postgres. Written communication skills and high attention to detail are a must as you will be writing formal proposals and project documentation

The company use technologies such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, C#.NET, DevExpress, SQL Server, Xamarin and NativeScript. The company develop for web and mobile but still retain some Desktop projects so you will be working on a variety of projects in an agile environment. The company are also Microsoft Gold and Amazon Technical Partners.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in directing a development team, and planning software development projects
  • Computer or Technology related degree and knowledge of technical development
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to produce product plans and documentation
  • Hard working
