Business Data Analyst
A Business Data Analyst is required by a global investment bank to work on a major data remediation project, assisting with the assessment of requirements, understanding of data issues and developing and implementing an appropriate remediation plan.
Key responsibilities of the role include
- Work in partnership with Technology, CDS Operations to perform a deep dive impact assessment on the global Tax classification data to review the actual volume of tax classification data impacted, verify and identify reasons causing duplicate and conflicting tax classification data, understand the technical and/or manual solutions required to remediate data and propose a project plan to remediate data, including resource required to address manual remediation effort
- Agree any technical scripting bulk remediation approaches with Group Tax and CDS Management.
- Design and create PowerPoint presentations for project plan updates, impact assessments, progress updates and analysis for senior audience
- Resolution of complex issues
You will have extensive experience of data management and data analysis (any experience of data remediation would be advantageous) within a complex business environment. Any previous banking or financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Any project management or business analysis experience would also be beneficial. You will also need strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
