The Opportunity

Macildowie Marketing are working exclusively with an employer of choice in the Derbyshire area who have a number of market leading brands in the UK and abroad. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Assistant to join a successful marketing team due to a recent promotion.

You will provide Marketing Communications support across a wide range of marketing activities and operate as a central point of contact for the sales team on marketing and promotional activities including providing marketing materials and supporting events.

Key Responsibilities


-Support the Marketing Communications Manager in delivering marketing campaigns covering all areas of marketing communications.
-Manage all literature, brochures, point of sale material, merchandise, training materials and exhibition equipment.
-Work with agencies including suppliers of design, print, merchandise, PR and literature fulfilment to deliver materials.
-Organise events with the marketing and sales teams and where required attend exhibitions to support the sales team.
-Support the wider national sales teams responding to requests and delivering marketing materials, merchandise and point of sale.
-Work on direct mail & email communication campaigns to support the marketing plan.
-Work with internal teams on product communications and producing internal and external briefing documents.
-Support the sales team with marketing materials, merchandise, event and point of sale.
-Deal with customer enquiries over the phone and by email.
-Supporting administration for the marketing team.
-Work with systems including SAP for ordering, Salesforce.com for marketing campaigns and lead reporting and a Group website content management system.

Experience and skills required


-At least 2 years marketing experience working within a sales & marketing environment (Essential)
-Degree or Marketing qualification would be an advantage
-Competent with MS Office suite
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
-Organised and able to plan own workload
