My client based in Burton on Trent are currently looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their growing team.

• To be directly responsible to the Sales Office Team Leader and being responsible for the sale of products and to give technical and sales support to distributors.

• To be aware of and understand the organisation and their relevant cultures.

• To understand and be able to present the Company's Mission and Vision statements and be able to present an overview of its strategic objectives.

To perform any other duties as and when required including but not limited to:

Product and Technical Knowledge

 To have a basic understanding of the clients product range.

 Have competent knowledge of Navision/SAP

 To undertake the accurate input of data

 To apply this knowledge in relation to customers requirements and problems.

 To keep up to date with changes in the technology and development of our industry which in turn affects the Company's progress.

Planning and Organisation

 The accurate preparation of the processing of sales orders from customers via telephone, fax, email.

 Provide a level of customer service that is first class

 Provision of sales technical support to all merchants, distributors and end users together with the sales force.

 There may be occasions when you are required to work outside of your contracted hours in order to meet the demands of the business.

 Administration and processing of sales returns and customer credits

Knowledge of Day to Day Activities

 To have contact with sales staff in the UK and Europe

 To have working knowledge of Word and Excel

 To accurately document return of goods

 To prepare the internal teams day to day tasks

 To process monthly reports from the quotation system

 To ‘flag' urgent enquiries assist in their prompt return

 To undertake the processing of credit notes in conjunction with the accounts department

 To identify opportunities of greater efficiency and cost savings

 To have a working knowledge of the discount control system and be commercially aware of the market.
