Electrical Technician - Birmingham Treatment Centre
ESS, part of the Compass Group, are looking to expand their scope of services which is creating career opportunities; as part of our growing PFI contracts portfolio we are looking to bring on board an Electrical Technician.Main responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Contracts Manager, you will effectively manage the electrical asset, equipment, resources and third party suppliers ensuring the FM operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement, statutory requirements and company standards & procedures.
Managing and working with vendors, partners, solution providers and support staff to make sure technical activity is performed to high quality levels and consistent across the business, locations and providers.Ideal candidate
Now what we are looking for in applications that want to join our team, you must be an enthusiastic individual with a drive & passion for leading within a Hard Services environment.
Have a sound technical understanding of M&E systems including PPM, Reactive Maintenance and Fault Rectification and experience in managing site based skilled engineers building capability and engagement to optimise performance and support individuals to realise their potential.
Manage change and improvement to support the contracts and the wider business and promote the sharing of ideas and best practice across the portfolio.
Monitor and optimise ESH performance with the resilience and flexibility to work at pace and adapt to change quickly to business needs.
You will also have the following qualification/certification
• NVQ Level 3 or HNC in an Electrical Discipline
• City & Guilds 2395 Electrical Inspection and Testing
• IEE 17th Edition Electrical Regulations Certificate
• Complete Level 2 HSE e-learning “Working Safely”
