As Junior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for gathering contact details and specific information from prospects, generating leads and opportunities via telephone sales, internet research activity and responding to enquiries, including following up on leads generated from marketing and events.
You will attend events, be an active and integral part of the sales team and consider and implement process improvement within the sales and lead generating process. It is envisaged that you will spend 25% of your day proactively selling with the remainder of the day split between information gathering, events, sales related meetings and the necessary supporting administration.
You will ideally be a graduate, either with demonstrable success in sales or telesales or sufficient evidence on your CV to suggest that you would be successful in this type of role.
You will be a first-class communicator and strong influencer with a high level of mental agility and a strong capacity for self-learning. You will be self-motivated and resilient with genuine customer focus, always wishing to provide the very best in customer service.
You will be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage your own workload, be positive, enthusiastic, proactive and approachable. The salary is GBP19,000 per annum plus a corporate bonus adding up to 10% of basic salary, plus a further performance related bonus adding up to another GBP4,000 per annum plus employment benefits befitting a company who are a leader in their field.
