About Our Client
Our client's Inspect and Collect service provides a market leading product and experience for their customers, providing services to Banks, OEM's and major fleet companies all listed in the FN 50. They have the UK's largest fully employed Inspection team. Unique in the market place they hold the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) accreditation. World class customer service is their passion and a key requirement for this role.
Having experienced unprecedented growth over the last two years they are expanding their team further and are looking to recruit experienced, motivated individuals to support our industry leading products and services.
They have a new purpose built Training Academy, which is accredited by the IMI, where you will be fully trained on all aspects of the role of Vehicle Inspector. Therefore, whilst previous experience in vehicle repair, mechanics or planning would be advantageous, it is not essential. The Regional Management team are on hand to provide you with ongoing help and advice, ensuring you'll have all the support you need.
About the role of Vehicle Inspector
With full autonomy to plan your days schedule you'll efficiently plan and co-ordinate your daily workload.
You will accurately identify and image damage on all vehicle types to published and industry standards
Report and recommend most appropriate repair methods for damage identified and accurately record the most appropriate repair method.
Engage with customers sharing inspections information to demonstrate a full understanding of the defleet process
Consistently deliver a professional and exceptional customer service
You will be motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure
Used to working in a fast paced and very busy environment with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines. You're effective at planning and creating work schedules
A basic knowledge of mechanics and technical vehicle inspection would be advantageous
You'll need to be comfortable using computers, tablets and hand held devices and have a good knowledge of operating Microsoft Office
Good verbal and written communications skills
Experience of delivering a great customer experience in a face to face environment
