What does a Group Financial Accountant do at Healthcare at Home?
- Assist with preparation of all statutory accounts and year end audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal and audit requirements.Preparing and completing the monthly consolidation for the HaH Group, including intercompany reconciliationsLiaison with overseas entities, reviewing and challenging the month end resultsEnsuring compliance with all banking covenantsWorking in consultative partnership with the commercial teams to identify and advice on financial impact of new business, activates and contracts Reviewing and introducing accountancy processes and controls across our business to continually improve performance
What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?
We are looking for a high energy, ambitious technically excellent accountant. We want candidates who can take on new responsibilities quickly and can show initiative to solve problems and generate real solutions.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have engaged with key business stakeholders, and influenced them to in deliver the right financial processes and practises mitigating risk for our business.
You will be able to critically analyse financials and focus on root cause analysis providing the right solutions to the business. We are looking for a proactive, excellent planner who pre-empts issues and thinks strategically.
It is essential that you are ACCA/ACA qualified who has worked within a practice environment and has significant experience in preparing annual statutory accounts (FRS 102)
You will be the type of person who thrives in an environment which operates at pace with a commitment to going the extra mile to ensure you achieve your goals.
