Your new role
As a supply teacher working for Hays Education you will be offered work in locations and settings to suit you. Whilst working on a supply basis, you will be expected to travel to schools within your local area for daily requirements. For emergency cover roles, you will deliver all lessons planned for the day and complete all marking, ensuring a full hand over for the class teacher is provided. In more long term cover roles, you will take on a full teaching responsibilities including; planning, marking and assessment.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience within primary education will lead to your successful appointment in the role. You will have qualified teacher status, however you do not have to have completed your NQT induction year. You will be able to quickly adapt to new school settings and work well within different teams and leadership styles. These roles are ideal for either NQT's looking to broaden experience within a variety of environments or seasoned educators looking to continue their passion in teaching.
