Job Description:

The role of the Sales Support Assistant is to assist with quoting prices, deal with all contract activity in order to meet deadlines and take full responsibility of application of the Credit Policy, Quality Assurance activity post sale through all sales channels prior to the request to close the sale from customer. The Sales Support Assistant will also take full ownership of the Onboarding and Switching activity and ensure that the CRM is fully up to date prior to passing to the Operations team for the final stages in the process.

Other activities of the the Sales Support Assistant will include Sales reporting support and process documentation, administration, and organizing commission payments.

The key duties of the role of the Sales Support Assistant are:

- Quality checking of contract documentation created through Direct and Indirect Sales teams, including verification of Letters of Authority for brokered sales and associated query management
- Ensure that all leads, opportunities and contracts are correctly maintained on the CRM system
- Liaison with any third party provider for call quality services to incorporate results in to QA reporting
- Work with Team Managers on escalations for QA failures
- To issue and track Third Party Introduction Agreements
- Ownership of all CRM activity ensuring all sales are pushed through as sold to the billing system
- Point of contact for queries on sales from Retail Services Desk and Operations team
- In close liaison with the Commercial Team, feedback and help develop process improvements for sales, proposal and contract procedures used to deliver service offerings
- Reporting and research as required

Candidate Requirements:

- English and mathematics GCSE or equivalent
- IT literate and comfortable learning new systems
- Experience in a service focused industry or relevant degree
- Experience of working with public and private sector customers
- A desire to exceed Customer expectations
- Sales experience with excellent interpersonal & negotiating skills
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines and timescales
- Working knowledge of SME market sector and customers
- Appreciation of contract law, commercial terms and conditions, Technical Specifications, tendering procedures
