We have had a fantastic opportunity become available for a Procurement Training and Development Manager on an initial 48 week contract.

The Key Responsibilities of the role include-

- Requires stakeholder engagement at many levels within the company and with external training providers.
- Responsible for organising a number of procurement training interventions, with impact across several key functions of the business, a varied skill set is required.
- Requires a high level of interaction internally and externally.
- Responsible for delivery of training to support the purchase and supply chain of global production for specified projects and enabling the provision of training through the supply base.
- Key Performance Indicators - Design, develop and deliver in-house training - Purchasing Induction and process training .
- Assign KPI's and learning outcomes for all training developed.
- Assess current Purchasing Academy content and ensure training is relevant whilst identifying training suitable for delivery as E-learning packages that can be used globally.
- Monitor the knowledge transfer of participants to assess the impact of the training in day to day operations
- Project Management requiring you to ensure that the learning and training delivery can be completed with the required inputs from the business and external suppliers where necessary.
- Managing the design of all new training, classroom, e-learning and videos to ensure that it is future proofed and capable.
- Ensuring ment with the L&D strategy and budget.
- Design, develop and delivery of the company's Purchasing Learning conferences, events and training interventions.
- Lead daily meetings with the customer to provide updates on project progress
- Own and update all project documents and issue reports to seniors based on set key performance indicators
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time

The skills and experience essential for the role-

- Strong buying expertise with previous experience in a purchasing or commercial environment.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver Procurement Training, confident, engaging training delivery style
- Strong project management, business acumen and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, influencing and relationship management skills
- Experience in supplier relationship management Desirable
- Trainer Qualifications e.g. Skilled Trainer, NLP Practitioner, L&D experience e.g. CIPD, Coaching and mentoring, E-Learning capability.
- Will have 5+ years experience in Purchasing along with experience in Learning and Development as a training developer.
- Experience of dealing with global companies
- Degree or relevant training qualification experience preferred

This role will require travelling worldwide.
