Are you a qualified (or part-qualified) tax or accounting professional, with an interest in accounting software packages? Are you looking for a change of career, redressing your work/life balance, but keen to retain your industry knowledge? Then this could be just the role for you.

As a result of the continued growth of Wolters Kluwer, we are looking for qualified accountancy professionals interested in retraining for careers within our Professional Services (software consultancy) and our Field Sales (account management) teams.

The roles will require you to use your tax and accounting expertise to either sell or deliver software and services across the market-leading range of CCH software products, as well as supporting the product team with new developments and innovations based on customer feedback.

About our Professional Services Team...

Based from home, and reporting into the Professional Services Manager, successful applicants will work as part of a team of professional services consultants based across the UK. You will build strong, credible relationships, with both colleagues and clients, ensuring you have the gravitas to be seen as the subject matter expert.

Our consultants are usually the first contact a client will have with Wolters Kluwer post sale and are therefore key to the development of good long term relationships with our client base. These roles will involve lots of visits to client sites (UK only) so any applicants must be willing to travel a minimum of 3 days a week, with a regular visit to the home office (Kingston upon Thames).

About our Sales Team...

Based in the field, our sales professionals are responsible for generating revenue from software sales, associated services and annual licences from accountancy practices on all products within our software portfolio, and to achieve sales targets as directed by their line managers. This is achieved in a manner of ways but predominantly via face-to-face field activity, so you will need to be an energetic, customer-facing, relationship builder with plenty of passion and drive.

About you...

We're ideally looking for people who might have the following:

  • Professional Tax and Accountancy qualification (or part qualification) (essential);
  • Good understanding of how a accountancy practices operate (advantageous);
  • Solid understanding of Tax and Accounting software, and how it benefits the end user (any experience of software implementation will be extremely advantageous for Professional Services roles, as will knowledge of CCH products);
  • Excellent Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge (Excel in particular) (essential);
  • First class communication and presentation skills (essential);
  • Current clean driving licence, with the willingness and ability for extensive travel nation-wide (essential);
  • Any experience of training or project delivery (beneficial)
