This is an international company which operates in over 60 countries, employs around 70,000 people and are market leaders in the sector they specialise in. Due to ongoing expansion of the Finance Team they now require a Payroll Advisor to join their organisation on a permanent basis.
The opportunity is paying up to £20,000 per annum
As a Payroll Advisor, you will ensure all allocated payrolls are processed in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with Group and local business controls and audit procedures, whilst providing a specialist payroll support service.
Process correct and timely salary payments to all employees across the organisation
Processing of new starters, leavers, personal and job amendments, company sick pay
Ensure payrolls are completed accurately and timely
Accurate processing of payroll reversals
Reconciliation and clearance of bank statements
Ensure sign off is made before BACS payments are arranged submission
Processing and validation of all tax and National Insurance / Social Insurance documentation
Generation and reconciliation of payments, including TT, BACS and cheque
Processing of Spreadover Pay and understanding the impact on payslips
Carry out any other required administrative duties connected with the efficient delivery of payroll
Skills and Experience
Highly skilled in PAYE legislation
Analytic and problem solving skills
Ability to create and maintain payroll process
Pensions, including Auto-Enrolment
Experience with working across multiple systems and platforms, including T&A and management of interfaces and import routines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Excellent Communication skills
Knowledge of SAP desirable
