Based at Birch Coppice Business Park you will be working as part of a busy team, the Stock Controller will be responsible for the daily management of stock inventory. You will be analysing sales forecasts and demands to schedule, coordinate and purchase goods from the supplier base. You will maintain safety stock accuracy to optimize KPI targets and manage suppliers' performance.

The role is best suited to a self-motivated individual who is capable of working to deadlines. Roles and responsibilities of the Stock Controller will include evaluating item usage, sustaining safety stock and forecast levels, placing purchase orders via M3. You will schedule deliveries, deal with supplier management and performance review, completion of department reports. You will also liaise with sales and operations to provide support, reconcile invoices, authorise, and obtain credit notes.

For the Stock Controller you will have experience in supply chain performance techniques, have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail and high standard of PC literacy. You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, knowledge of the internal system is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. Good verbal and written communication skills, enthusiasm, be positive and have flexibility.
