Job Title HR Assistant
Salary Between £18,000 and £24,000 per annum, depending on experience
Our client, a Coventry based Manufacturing business, is looking for a HR Assistant, to join the HR department for a maternity cover. In this role, you will be supporting the HR manager with daily tasks of the department. Other duties will include but won't be limited to:
-Updating and maintaining the company's HR Information System data
-Delivering a full range of Human Resources services
-Providing advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures and legislation
-Liaising with recruitment agencies on new roles and starters
-Delivering new starter inductions and monitoring probation periods
-Providing consultative support on issues regarding workplace relations and performance management
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a HR position, preferably in an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment, as well as:
-Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
-Experience of using HR information systems
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Excellent IT skills and driven to provide a high level of customer service
A large Manufacturing business within the Automotive and Aerospace industry, with over 250 members of staff.
Fixed term maternity cover (between 9-12 months) - December start.
Salary: between £18,000 and £24,000 depending on experience.
