Are you a dynamic and creative Event Co-ordinator looking for an exciting new challenge in your career? Our client requires an Event Co-ordinator who has experience of creating dynamic and exciting events to help the client get notices. This is a new role and the duties of the post will be wide-ranging. The successful team member will be involved in the creativity, planning and execution of events both locally and in London - the target audience will be both commercial and the educational sector.   • Create and develop a work plan for each event
  • Engage and work with venues, staff and third party suppliers
  • Work alongside the marketing team to ensure branding is consistent
  • Identify, attend and present at sponsorship opportunity meetings
  • Discuss and agree budget limits for events and write budget plans
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the most cost effective prices where appropriate
  • Available to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Organise social events for employees and their families to meet other employees and the local community
  • Other administrative duties as required by the client

Desirable skills:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in event management
  • Drive and flexibility
  • Excellent communications, both oral and written
  • Detail orientated and highly organised
  • The ability to work on multi projects under pressure
  • A strong negotiator, able to take ownership of tasks and problem-solve
  • Excellent organisational, planning and project management skills


  • GBP20,000 - GBP30,000 depending upon experience (pro-rata)
  • This role also has the option of being part-time
  • Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm (flexibility to work evenings/weekends)
