Level 3 Nursery Practitioner required during term time in Stoke on Trent
Your new company
As a qualified Early Practitioner you will be working in a Nursery within the Stoke area which has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. They provide childcare all year round and are open from 8am-6pm. The nursery provides a broad and exciting curriculum following the Early Years Foundation Stage where children are provided with the opportunity to explore, investigate and be creative. The setting offers outdoor learning for all age groups which has a range of wheeled vehicles, building blocks and climbing equipment. The nursery has an on-site cook which provides nutritious meals for all the children. During the warmer months the children grow and prepare their own fruit and vegetables which are then used within their meals and during cooking activities.
Your new role
The position is for term time only and the hours will be on a shift basis working between the hours of 8am -6pm. You will be qualified to a minimum of level 3. You will become a key worker in your new role and be responsible for small groups of children including completing their observations, learning journals and report writing.
What you'll need to succeed
Applications will be accepted from those with a Level 3 qualification and ideally have at least 1 years' experience within a nursery or pre-school setting. You will work well as part of a team but can also use your own initiative when required. You must be pro-active, passionate and enthusiastic about providing the best possible care and start in life.
