My client provides a vital lifeline to those who have been excluded from school and those on the verge of permanent exclusion, they also provide support to those at risk of exclusion. Their school is set up to help pupils who have become disengaged from their education, or young people who have found mainstream school a challenge.

The role?

Working term time with students aging between 11 and 16 with strong behavioural issues. Supporting a teacher making sure teaching plans are implemented as well as having the capacity to help a students in both small groups or on a 1:1 bases. If you have a passion for Science or have experience in teaching then this is ideal but not necessary.

For this role you would require:

Experience working with children that have strong behavioural issues in an SEN setting

Strong Written and verbal communication

Ability to adapt to situation changes with a positive approach, as well as being relatable and having good humour
