Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a SEND in Birmingham. Easily accessible from, Edgbaston, Bearwood, Oldbury, and Quinton. This role will be working in a fantastic pupil orientated SEND school that focuses purely around caring and supporting children and young adults (11-19) with Autism, MLD and SLD. The school boasts fantastic premises that are dedicated to help the pupils express emotions and explore learning. This school needs to recruit a TA or HLTA with the right attitude and levels of commitment to manage the complex challenges the pupils within this setting face. You will need a great sense of dedication, commitment and above all a genuine interest in making a difference to the children and young adults you support.

You will need to be:

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant or HLTA
  • Have a minimum 6 months experience within an SEND setting
  • A motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge
  • Have experience working with both children and young adults with ASD, MLD or SLD
  • Have a positive attitude with an interest in getting involved with whole of school life
  • Happy to work across whole of school
  • Able to demonstrate a track record in a SEND School
