Working for an exceptional & innovative business, you will be administering & managing this exciting business IT network to ensure the future efficiency and sustainability meets future demand and also to ensure the security focus of the business.

Job duties

Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, network and server resources, systems and key processes, Reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs. Researching & recommending innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identifying approaches that leverage resources and provide economies of scale. Ensuring that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers to meet the needs of users, without exceeding budget and any other constraints. Managing security and PCI requirements such as:
•performing remediation of vulnerability scans
•inspecting logs, IPS/IDS and FIM reports for anomalies and security events
•keeping all systems patched up to date,
•reviewing AV daily and apply configuration standards to all systems

You will also be providing technical support for hardware and software issues when needed and keeping company knowledge base up to date and document all new work done.

To be considered for this role you must have:

•Strong networking knowledge
•Strong Active Directory and Group Policy
•Windows configuration and troubleshooting
•G Suite administration experience
•Experience with monitoring solutions
•Candidates experienced with PCI compliance or any other regulation will be highly regarded
•Candidates with any security related certification will also be highly regarded
•Over 3 years of hands on experience
•Proven planning skills
•The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
•Organisational, communication, documentation and administration skills with a good eye for detail

Located in Telford this position is commutable from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Willenhall and surrounds
