Lord are currently working with a highly-regarded local authority, located in the West Midlands.

We are leading the recruitment drive for a Principal Educational Psychologist.

The successful candidate will lead a highly-professional Educational Psychology Service which is renowned for providing high-quality, child-centred, evidence-based practice.


The Role

You will join our client at a time when opportunities exist to make a real difference through the establishment of new working practices, pathways and interventions.

In conjunction with the fulfilment of statutory service duties and specialist responsibilities you will lead a team that seeks to create and deliver responsive and innovative commissioned services to schools and other settings.

Scope exists to offer a rich and diverse portfolio of activities, comprising early intervention strategies, consultative approaches, psychometric investigation, therapeutic techniques and the delivery of high quality training to support children, young people and families.


Candidates

Whether a Senior Educational Psychologist seeking a step-up, or an experienced Principal Educational Psychologist looking for an interesting lateral move, you will have extensive experience of working within an Educational Psychology Service, with in-depth knowledge of SEND statutory processes.
