Interaction Recruitment are currently working with a leading distributor to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Inbound Administrator to join their advancing team in the West Midlands.

As a Warehouse Inbound Administrator you’re responsible for the planning, administering and executing the receipt of all incoming shipments into the warehouse facility.

A Warehouse Inbound Administrator will be able to take on a variety of tasks and projects to support the receiving team. A hands-on approach is an essential part of this role in order to ensure tasks are completed effectively whilst maintaining excellent customer service. Our client is looking for an individual who is able to build effective working relationships with the internal teams to ensure first class service.

Inbound Administrator Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to ensure that all products are received within the agreed KPI timescales.

  • Cross reference vendor paperwork against systems

  • Support the sales teams with urgent requirements

  • Assist with the unpacking of pallets & cartons

  • Administer all types of receiving paperwork.

  • Data entry

  • Call handling from other departments, vendors and carriers.

  • Support with the booking in of scheduled shipments.

  • Monitor and respond to email requests ensuring that all tasks are followed through to conclusion.

  • Input discrepancy reports and proactively inform affected parties.

  • Monitor the IRIS system and ensure that all key metrics are being delivered.

  • Assisting colleagues in the wider operation where required.

Inbound Administrator Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Educated to a good standard

  • Experience of using IT equipment in a workplace environment.

  • Basic working knowledge of MS applications.

  • The ability to be flexible across both office and warehouse environments

  • Open to change and adaptable, with a capacity and willingness to learn.

  • Able to prioritise a varied daily workload.

  • A confident and professional telephone manner.

Desired:

  • V12 FLT license desirable, not essential, but the willingness to accept training is.
