I have been hired by a child-focused Independent Fostering Provider to help develop their management team over the course of 2017 as they seek to grow and develop across the West-Midlands.
As a result of this, they are searching for an individual who is passionate about developing the lives of children and young people and wishes to use their skills in a more strategic role that involves nurturing staff and passing on your own expertise and skills to other members within the team.
What does it mean to practice as a Team Manager within this IFA?
As a Team Manager within the Independent Fostering Sector you will be responsible for nurturing and supporting a team of 4 Supervising Social Worker's within a very specific area within Worcester, the main aim of which is to ensure that the Social Worker's in your hands are fully equipped to deal with the carer's, children and young people in their care.
The senior management team will be behind you to provide guidance and support where needed, all members of the senior management team are highly experienced individuals within the independent fostering sector; providing you with the guidance necessary to improve your both your practice in terms of managerial skills and strategic operational development.
