We are recruiting a mobile Electrical Technician across the Severn Trent property portfolio i.e. East/West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Derbyshire. (Company Van provided)

Working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday between 08:00-17:00

Overtime available on request paid at X1.5 Monday to Saturday and X2 Sundays

Job Purpose: To provide a proactive planned and reactive electrical/maintenance service to EMCOR for Severn Trent Water.

To work as part of an on call rota - Currently 1 in 8, GBP100 per week when on call, minimum of 4 hours.

Principal Accountabilities:

To carry out PPM and reactive tasks.
Liaise with customer to ensure satisfaction off service delivered.
Carry our minor electrical works.
Provide assistance to third parties as and when required.
Act upon reasonable requests from and instructions from Line Management.
To partake on call out roster.
To work reasonable overtime as and when required.
Assistance on other sites can be expected.

Person Specification:

Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline would be an important pre-requisite of the role.
Knowledge of key operational procedures e.g. time sheets, planned maintenance systems, Quality and Health & Safety.
Substantial operational and technical experience with demonstrated potential.
Experience of positively dealing with the resolution of customer problems within specific contracts.
Demonstrated 'hands-on' technical expertise in a number of key operational areas.
