An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Plant and Transport Manager to work for a leading Construction Materials company. You will be responsible for covering 5 sites across the Midlands and North with responsibility for managing a team.


You will be responsible for ensuring that the team minimises financial expenditure on all vehicle, ensures full compliance with safety and business policies and assist in the effective allocation of operational vehicles and drives best practice across the national business of traffic management with a large multi-million pound fleet.

Key duties of the role will involve
  • Managing 5 sites
  • Managing workshops and teams of fitters and engineers
  • Responsibility for mobile plant and equipment
  • Managing compliance
  • Managing a fleet of HGV’s
  • Deliver against budget targets to minimise loss and damage
Essential requirements for the role
  • CPC Qualified
  • Strong Transport knowledge and experience
  • Good understanding of mobile plant and equipment
  • Willingness to travel and manage time effectively
  • Proven management experience within the Transport industry
  • Finance and budget experience
Desirable requirements for the role
  • Knowledge of Road Surfacing Machinery/Industry
