About the Role: Reporting to the Engineering Shift Manager, the appointed Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will complete planned maintenance schedules, attend machinery breakdowns, support continuous improvements projects aimed to increase machinery efficiencies, assist with the installation of new plant, seek opportunities to reduce downtime, carry out equipment fault diagnostics, and enter all completed work on to the computerised maintenance management system.

About the Person: We are seeking applications from Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with strong Electrical and Mechanical skills, and who hold recognised electrical engineering qualifications to a minimum of NVQ standards. The Ideal candidate would have previous Food Manufacturing experience, but this is not essential as specific equipment training will be provided. Those applicants with plc fault finding skills; knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and electrical panels, and a proactive work ethic, should be able to transfer their skills to this environment.

Remuneration: Basic salary of £30,000 to £35,000 pa (dependant on experience) + Additional company benefits.
