Job Purpose:

To develop and implement the marketing strategy. Reporting to the directors of the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating marketing plans and the hands-on implementation of those plans to drive both offline and digital marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences. You will have the skills to deliver and develop marketing activities that will increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the website and deliver a return on investment for the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·Developing a marketing strategy that will help the business achieve their overall business objectives, budget management and the hands-on delivery of this strategy

Digital marketing:

·Social media management; running all social media channels that you feel appropriate to the business including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn

·Website maintenance; ensuring it is kept up to date, populated with fresh content and articles on a regular basis

·Email marketing using the database of B2B and B2C contacts that you will continue to grow and develop

·Reporting on all digital marketing activities and looking at website traffic, click through rates and conversions

·Exploring Paid Adverting and making recommendations as to what PPC to use

·Manage the Ecommerce site, ensuring that all new products are uploaded along with product description

Event management:

·Identifying new events that the company can attend on a local, national and international level

·Looking for key PR opportunities within the events

·Managing the event and providing feedback after the event

Collateral production:

·Designing and creating marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers and event materials


Other duties may include:

·Answering the phone if needed and dealing with enquiries

·Managing and building a database of consumers to ensure that there is a good audience to target

·Market research and identifying new market opportunities

Experience required:

·Experience in using Google Analytics and Google Adwords

·Excellent communication skills and confident in managing expectations with an ability to push back

·Commercially aware and results driven always focusing on ROI

·Proven experience in developing marketing plans and delivering against business objectives

·Experience in continually looking for ways to improve existing processes

·Passionate about marketing and willing to continually learn about the industry and what the key players are doing

Salary: up to £24,000 DOE
