As part of this 15 month programme you will have the opportunity to learn and understand the key roles within our stores; from stock management in the warehouse to designing our beautiful kitchens, all whilst working towards a qualifying apprenticeship standard in retailer and developing your own knowledge and experience. Supported by the local store team and also colleagues from HR and Training and Development we will work closely with you to ensure you get the right skills to give you a real opportunity to progress within our business.

Qualifications

5 GCSE’s Grades C and above (Mathematics and English Language as a minimum)

Key Accountabilities

·Learn and understand the key roles within a Magnet Store

·Positively contribute to the store’s performance and assist in achieving its goals and targets

·Achieve the advanced apprenticeship in retail within the 15 month period

·Develop knowledge and skills, achieve own personal targets and be an effective team member

Salary Rates

As Apprentice:

• £5.60 per hour (£11,648)

Once permanent Role offered:

• Starting salaries from £16,000-18,000 dependent on role offered plus bonus or commission

The programme will involve learning to operate a Fork Lift Truck. In order to meet the legal regulations for fork lift operation candidates should be 17 or over by 1st November 2017. Hours of work are 40 per week and will include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis
