To set up and manage a telesales team of 8 people who sell adverting space into Future's print magazines, online brands, and events to existing advertisers who spend less than £6,000 per annum, and to identify and sell advertising space to new businesses who want to spend less than £8,000 per annum. To sell across the following markets: technology, video games, photography, music making, rock, design, knowledge, film.
Key role responsibilities
To grow existing business from approximately £800,000 per annum to £880,000 and also book £80,000 of new business into FY18 (October 2017 to September 2018 inclusive) Ensure that revenues are maximised through effective leadership, team management and sales performance. Recruit and establish the team, establish and instil the required KPI's, train the team in order for them to be fully functional such that they can deliver against targeted revenues within 5 months.

Essential Skills and Experience
* You will have had experience of setting up and establishing successful telesales teams, ideally in the media industry, establishing and working to KPI's to gain maximum possible revenues.
* The role requires you to juggle a team selling media across approximately 50 brands across 8 different markets.
* You need to be calm, level headed, organised, and adaptable and solution focused.
* You will need to be an experienced manager because this is a new team and a new business venture for us so you will need to draw on your previous experiences to be able to find solutions to problems and issues as they arise.
