An exciting new permanent opportunity based just north of Birmingham city centre.
Your new company
This growing organisation is looking for a new Accountant as the current accountant is retiring. They are therefore looking for a Finance Manager to take their place on a permanent basis which will involve 6 months of training by the current Accountant and then taking the reins after this period.
Your new role
The successful candidate will need to be confident enough to present findings to stake holders and managing directors of the firm. The role will include dealing with the Sales Ledger, credit control, payroll, invoice processing, statement reconciliations, reporting, trial balance, VAT returns and cost analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience with all the duties listed previously, you will also need to be a confident and out going person as you will need to be able to present findings to the stake holders. You will need to be able to get along well within a small team.
