Senior Internal Auditor - Financial Services - Birmingham - up to £55,000

Your new company
This Senior Internal Auditor role is with a challenger bank based near Birmingham city centre who offer a range of financial products and are a growing competitor in the high street banking market. You will be joining an Internal Audit department under new leadership who will be driving the function forward - you will play a key role in this.

Your new role
You will play a critical role within the Internal Audit function by supporting the Head of Internal Audit deliver the Audit Plan. This is a very hands-on role and you will gain exposure to all areas of the bank conducting a range of different audits including Bank Branch audits, AML & Financial Crime, HR, Finance, Loans & Mortgages, Credit Risk and Conduct Risk. You will also manage one junior auditor who will provide you with support on audit engagements.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/IIA). You must have Financial Services audit experience, ideally from a Retail Bank or Building Society. You will also be very hands-on and delivery orientated. Strong stakeholder engagements skills are essential.
