We are looking to recruit a Site Manager for a Social Housing Contract based in Hereford. Our client is a regional contractor who specialise in refurbishments and maintenance to social housing properties. They are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager to work on a contract where they are completing internal and external small extensions and POD refurbishments in Hereford.
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager. Your duties will be:
Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
1st point of contact for all trades on site
Monitoring health and safety on site
Attending progress meetings, client meetings
Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise
The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as a Site Manager within the Social Housing sector, preferably on an internal and external extension scheme.
You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS and valid First Aid certificate. The hourly rate is £21ph.
